The Time Navigator Virtual Library System (VLS) automates the entire Disk to Disk to Tape process to create a unified architecture. The software enables disk-based storage that emulates a tape library, leading to enhanced reliability and speed.

Fastest Recovery
Automatically choose the optimized restoration operation. If data is saved on disk, it will be restored directly from disk; if data is stored on tape, it will be restored directly from tape, bypassing the intermediary storage devices. This is specifically designed to retrieve information as quickly as possible.

Easily create a virtual library in minutes by selecting the appropriate configuration criteria, such as number of drives, number of tapes, the size of the virtual tapes and relevant data paths.
Intuitive management
Manage the VLS like a tape library. All operations are performed through a GUI. Users can edit and check the content of any virtual library, easily view and manage multiple storage pools, or export data to tape for offsite archiving.
